There are two pigeon track, mini gps tracking packages that you can choose from:

Option 1

GPS Data Logger Kit

Global Positioning System satellite data logger with built-in battery that lasts approximately 5 hours. The recording interval can be adjusted from 1 to 60 seconds; depending upon how detailed a route you want to be displayed on Google Earth.  It is preset to record your bird’s position every 30 seconds and can be programmed to record in distance intervals.

Option 2

Extended GPS Data Logger Kit

$199

Same Global Positioning System satellite data logger with built-in battery that lasts approximately 48 hours. GPS data set to take every 3 minutes-NOT VARIABLE. At 40.9 mph (1200 ypm) equivalent to readings, every 2 miles; programmed to turn off between each reading.

Included in each mini gps tracking package:

• 2  Harnesses

Two Harnesses are provided. One for training with the weighted block and one for flight with the GPS. The harness is designed with flexible slip that attaches with a velcro tip to hold the GPS or training weight securely on the bird’s back without restricting wing movement.

• Training Weight

A plug designed to be the exact same size and weight as the GPS, to acclimate the bird to fly with the GPS without risking loss of the unit.

• Battery Charger

A charger for charging the internal battery of the GPS unit. Approximate charge time is 4 hours. The unit will automatically stop charging when the battery is fully charged. EU orders recieve the EU 240 volt charger.

• USB Data Cable

A specifically designed cable used for transferring the data from the GPS unit to your computer. Please note that the GPS unit does not work with any random usb cable.

• Installation Disk

A CD for your computer that automatically installs all of the necessary software to record and view your bird’s flight path. The CD also includes the detailed user manual for you to download and print. It shows you specifically how to  set up and use the system.

All computer programs required to run the GPS system are also in the CD and when you click on the download icon, it downloads automatically. Tech support is also available English version only at this time.
